The Vaughan International Film Festival, based in a neighbouring city of Toronto, is a not-for-profit organization highly invested in securing the future of the short film industry. Through public film screenings, scholarship opportunities as well as engaging and informative panels, webinars and industry events, VFF strives to support both experienced and aspiring filmmakers.
Now in its 11th edition, the festival continues to offer a platform for independent creators to share their films and further excel within the industry. Celebrating the best in short films!
The festival will culminate with the VFF Awards taking place on the final night. VFF is ecstatic to return to the always-elegant Terrace Banquet Centre for this black-tie, red-carpet event! Guests will be treated with a musical performance and a delectable four-course meal, all while connecting with industry leaders and VFF’s supporting partners. And for the main highlight of the night, VFF will hand out their Individual Achievement Awards and present the winners of their film awards.
